Every couple is unique in their own way. When it comes to photography, they have different perspectives and preferences. Some love the beachy vibes, while others love the cityscape. Some have a thing for historic locations, while some simply want to embrace the beauty of the rolling hills. Our couple Erika and Kyle said they like oak trees, and that’s why they chose the Jekyll Island Historic District for their engagement session. From perfect weather to splendid landscape, gorgeous oak trees, a sense of soul-stirring tranquility, and a refreshing environment, Jekyll Island provided us with all of this as we did our couple’s engagement session at this amazing location. It was a mini-session, and we are happy that we could make the most of our time together. We created some stunning engagement photos of our couple and had so much fun in the process.
Jekyll Island Engagement Photography
Researching what couples these days are looking for in their images, evolving our styles, and continuous improvement in our work is what we’ve always been focused on and love doing to provide our lovely clients with the best photos possible. And, that’s why we always ask them what drew their attention toward us. This helps us know what we are doing right and where we can do better. So, when we asked our bride-to-be, Erika, the same question, here’s what she said, “I liked how natural and laid back everyone looks (in the images you take). Maybe un-posed is the right word? I also liked that some of the photos felt a bit moodier, which I did not see much of from a lot of coastal photographers. It felt different and refreshing!” Erika, we are so glad that you like what we do, and honestly, inspiring words such as these keep us going! We love the fact that we hit the right chord with you and had something unique to offer as compared to our competitors in the industry. Also, the fact that you guys ended up booking us for your wedding photography after this shoot is so exciting and such an honor at the same time! And that’s why we recommend couples sign up for engagement sessions before the wedding day! Why? Because it’s a great way to build trust and set expectations between couples and their photographers.
Erika & Kyle
For the engagement shoot, we were clear that we had to highlight the lush greenery, the dramatic oak trees, and our couple’s vivacious personalities through their photos. And, so we did! Calm and comfortable. That’s what Erika and Kyle were doing throughout the session. The two are so photogenic and were absolutely natural in front of the camera, which helped us create their candid engagement images. The way they embraced each other, looked at each other, and were lost in each other’s love were truly heartwarming to witness. Their smiles not only brightened up the images but our whole session. Photographing these two lovebirds was pure joy!
