As a Jax Beach Newborn Photography studio, it's always a blessing to be a part of our clients' celebrations! It is such a joy and honor to document their memorable milestones and freeze them into frames to be remembered forever. Therefore, we always look forward to shooting anniversaries, newborn photo sessions, and family sessions with a sense of nostalgia and shared happiness. So when Katie (the mother) rang us up to share the news of the birth of her second child and that they are planning for a newborn photo session, we were delighted!

Newborn photography holds a special place in our hearts! These little fellas are a small bundle of joy with cuteness written all over them and a special moment for the clients (parents). The rush of emotions they feel as parents while embracing their babies' tiny feet and hands are always worth a capture. Moreover, newborns make for such an adorable subject!

Jax Beach Newborn Photography: Welcoming Baby Clara To The Bodiford Family

Our association with the Bodifords goes back to when this couple got hitched. We had the chance to meet, befriend, and photograph this lovely couple for their wedding celebration in 2016. The celebration was quite a gala, and photographing them was absolutely fun! And ever since they tied the knot, it has been our privilege and sheer bliss to keep photographing this couple and their expanding family as they hit new milestones.

It was a joyous moment for the couple - welcoming baby Clara, their second child, to their sweet little family. Photographing Clara took me back to the memories of the newborn photoshoot of the couple’s firstborn. We decided to photograph baby Clara at the client’s gorgeous beach home in Jacksonville. Part of what makes the in-home sessions a preferred option for newborn photo sessions is that we can just let life run its usual course as photographers—unfolding the opportunity to capture glimpses of an honest day, genuine laughter, and authentic moments.

That apart, even the couple’s beautifully decorated beach home worked its charm and provided the perfect ambiance for the shoot, and Clara looked so comfortable in her familiar surroundings. And yes, those cute hairbands that adorned her tiny little head made the baby look so adorable. And kudos to Katie! She sure did plan for some cutesy outfits for her kiddo - everything from the color of Clara’s onesies to her toys and her room’s wallpaper was so cutesy that they made the images turn out to be all the more appealing. Some of our favorite shots from this newborn photo session were moments when Katie held her little munchkin close to her and planted a kiss on her cheeks. We could feel the love radiate through the warmth of Katie’s embrace for her baby. And we even got some cuddly images of the mother and child as Katie playfully rocked baby Clara on her lap.

Katie, thank you for trusting us, again, to photograph your precious little angel. It is always a delight to come back to document your family’s celebrations and milestones.
