We are extremely dedicated to all our clients and aim to offer exceptional customer service (and photos) to everyone who chooses us as their photographer. And that’s not just because it’s good for business, but also because we love our clients, and we love it even more when they come back to us for more! Brittany and her family had worked with us years ago and they really loved the family photos we took for them, so she recently came back to us for another family session. And to say that we were excited to get back together with them for their Mallery Park Family Session would be an understatement.

Brittany has an incredibly beautiful family. We loved meeting them the first time, and we were overjoyed when we met them again. They’ve always felt like family to us and we have genuinely enjoyed photographing them together. In total, there were nine people in the group, which included six adults and three of the cutest kids we’ve ever seen. They were perfect little models, and clearly, they loved the camera (and we’d like to think some of that love was for us too!).

The family wanted to be in a setting that the kids could enjoy as well. They wanted the photos to look natural, and they specifically wanted the photographs to be a representation of who they are as a family. And the best way to do that is to just let the family be who they naturally are. Mallery Park was perfect for them. Filtered by the tall trees, the lighting was lovely, and since it wasn’t too hot, the kids were comfortable too. We can’t say for sure whether they had planned their outfits or the color palette, but the colors they had chosen seamlessly aligned with the surroundings. 

We did some solo portraits, couples portraits, group shots, and portraits of the parents with their kids. But the portion where we just photographed the kids was the highlight for us. They were so adorable, and we were so glad about how comfortable they were with us. Their focus was on just having fun and goofing around with each other, which was exactly how we wanted to photograph them. The best part was how loving they were toward each other as well. Those photos will make anyone go “awwww”. All in all, it was a really fun family session at the park. Another highlight from the session was seeing everyone’s big smiles. It’s always encouraging for us to see our clients having fun during the session, and these guys never stopped laughing or smiling - even when they weren’t in the shot.

We’ve photographed a lot of kids, and these were definitely one of the happiest, most relaxed kids we’ve gotten to work with. Brittany, thank you for choosing us as your photographers once again! You have a beautiful family, and we are already looking forward to working with you again.
