Erika and Kyle chose the Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah for their wedding day. And their choice made sense - the bride and groom themselves have impeccable style and that was evident by their choice of wedding attire too. We had photographed Erika and Kyle’s engagement session before, so we knew what to expect from their wedding day too. Their Perry Lane Hotel Wedding included the most gorgeous details, beautiful florals, elegant stationery, and décor, which perfectly aligned with their personalities too. The bride and groom took a liking to our slightly dark and moody aesthetic, and so we already knew what these two would want their wedding photos to look like. Erika And Kyle’s Perry Lane Hotel Wedding

We started Erika and Kyle’s wedding day with taking the bride’s getting ready photos at the Perry Lane Hotel. Erika and her bridesmaids were such a fun bunch and a delight to photograph. Erika looked like a vision in her bridal dress (the Betsy Johnson shoes were exquisite!), and the lighting in that room was perfect for bridal portraits. The bride did a first look for her father and bridesmaids, and their reactions were adorable! While the bride got ready, Kyle and his groomsmen were in the hotel’s lounge playing cards and hanging out, which is exactly how we photographed them. They all looked so handsome and polished in their black tuxes!

Erika also did a sweet little first look with her groom. Kyle’s eyes lit up and he had the biggest smile on his face when he saw his to-be wife standing there. One of the best things about Erika and Kyle’s wedding was the time we got for their couples portraits. They made sure that they took out time from the festivities to just soak in the moment and have it captured as well. And these moments made for incredibly romantic couples portraits - both indoor and outdoors. The couple had told us that they loved the ‘un-posed’ nature of the kind of photos we took, and beyond the formal portraits, we made sure that we caught all the candid moments - including the photos we took of them with their wedding party.

The day was overcast so it did rain a little, but we were prepared for that too. We are in awe of the photos of the couple kissing as the groom held the umbrella over them. Erika and Kyle share a wonderful bond and they have amazing chemistry, and it’s moments and photos like these that really helped us showcase that. Even though they had already seen each other before the ceremony, the looks on Erika and Kyle’s faces as the bride walked down the aisle were priceless. They were glowing, beaming, smiling from ear to ear. It was as if in that moment, there was nobody else in the room but just those two. So cute!

After some couples portraits with the newlyweds, it was time for the reception party. Erika and Kyle have great taste and not just in clothes, even the centerpieces they chose were laced in elegance. The whole setup looked like it was staged for a Pinterest photo! They made a grand entrance and stole the show with their first dance as husband and wife. Even then, the two couldn’t stop giggling and laughing. Everyone was there to support the newlyweds, and the rest of the night was spent dancing, singing, and celebrating Erika and Kyle.
