Kathryn and Adam's Saint Simons Island Casino Wedding ticked both the boxes of romantic and fun! They tied the knot at Saint Simons Island Casino in Georgia, and their wedding day was filled with warm hugs, kisses, and party games! Here's a glimpse into their wedding day!

Meet The Couple

We love to get to know our couples and hear about how they met, fell in love, and all the good stuff! Kathryn and Adam met 12 years ago during their freshman orientation at the University of Rhode Island. They planned a road trip while living in North Carolina and instantly fell in love with Saint Simons Island. They went back last year to confirm that it was the best place to get married, and it was! They especially wanted to have their ceremony under a tree in a park that reminded them of the Tree of Life.

The couple recently moved from California to Massachusetts to be closer to family and settle down. However, despite the distance, they still knew that they wanted to get married under that tree in Georgia. Kathryn told us about their wedding plans, "We are doing things a little reversed, planning a wedding without being engaged!" We love couples who flip traditions and do things their unique way!

Kathryn And Adam's Saint Simons Island Casino Wedding

We began Adam and Kathryn's wedding photography by capturing the bride's getting-ready moments. Kathryn was glowing as she had her makeup and hair done. We loved how she had a constant smile and was so calm and composed as she got ready to marry the love of her life. After getting dressed, we took a few bridal portraits of Kathryn by herself. She looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress with intricate buttons running from the mid back to the end of the dress. Her hair was styled in ringlets, with one side neatly pushed back with a beaded hair accessory.

Adam and Kathryn chose to have an outdoor wedding ceremony in Saint Simon Island Casino, under a massive tree in a park, which was very special to both of them. The weather was perfect with clear blue skies, creating a romantic atmosphere for their ceremony. The sun's glow peeking through the "tree of life" cast a magical spell for all in attendance. Adam looked so excited as he saw Kathryn walking down the aisle with her father and a gorgeous bouquet of roses in her hands. There was so much love in the air, and we are pleased to be their photographers.

After their fairy tale ceremony, we photographed a few couples' portraits of the newlyweds. Adam and Kathryn walked hand-in-hand, finding different places to photograph - from waterfront docks to grassy areas with trees. One thing we admired about these two lovebirds was their confidence. They were such naturals in front of the camera that all we had to do was capture their love through our lenses. There were so many sweet moments and stunning backdrops.

Saint Simons Island Casino Wedding Reception

Adam and Kathryn planned to go all-out for their wedding reception and have the time of their lives. The newlyweds swayed to the music as they had their first dance as husband and wife. And to make things more exciting, the couple planned fun wedding games! First, they had a piñata in the shape of a cake, and both Adam and Kathryn took turns smashing it for some goodies. Later, everyone joined the couple in a drinking game, where there was a wooden board fixed with shot glasses. It was indeed a lively wedding reception to witness!
